The Murray

Hong Kong

The Murray is one of the most beautiful and elegant hotels I have ever seen.

Perhaps because the hotel is so new, but everything looks and feels so shiny and glamorous.

I just wanted to experience every corner of the hotel! The aesthetics and layout are very charming and give a sense of endless luxury from the moment I walked in through the main door, into the guest rooms, dining areas, and also the rooftop bar with a stunning view of Hong Kong island hills.

Walking through the hotel, I was discovering impressive art pieces. From paintings to charcoal art collections created by a famous Korean designer.

Finally, when I arrived in my room, I had a sweet present waiting for me and my boyfriend. We have received a welcome cake with wishes for our 6th-year anniversary. I was so surprised because I didn't even tell them about it...

The staff of the hotel is incredible and is ready to take a step further to ensure you will receive a first-class service.

The bed was super comfortable and before sleeping I have found a go-to bed sleeping mist that is sprayed on the pillow.

I guess for experiencing the hotel with all your senses. The attention to detail was again over my furthest expectations. After coming back home, I am still using the sleeping mist on my pillow before going to sleep.

Except for the comfy bed, there is also a large TV with a great sound system and a nice gallery of movies to watch.

I have turned the volume right and enjoyed the movies at its best. This proved the noise privacy of the room since no one came complaining...I HOPE...:)

But the best part of this hotel for me was the full marble bathroom with touches of gold. The bathtub, shower, and the Japanese toilet were very luxurious. I also loved the Grown Alchemist hair and shower products.

No wonder, my Instagram posts from there went viral and became the most liked pictures on my IG... If you like marble, you will be stunned by the beauty of this bath.

The breakfast was half served as a buffet and half a la cart. Everything was so yummy but the most I loved the honey!! It wasn't my first time trying raw honey, but it is definitely a rare occasion to have a chance to eat it straight from the beehive.

Briefly said,

extraordinary service, personalized and genuine guest experience, beautiful interiors & design and fashionable architecture.

The location is also very convenient with the cable car going to the Victoria Peak just a few minutes away and numerous streets that were kindly shared by a very nice and knowledgeable concierge Billy.

The Murray is definitely a hotel where I would come back if I were to travel to Hong Kong again!
